This Tier C Starter Guide, built from the providers’ public pages, helps you match one first job to one of eight AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Runable, Kimi or Mistral Vibe. FSR tested none of them. It names no default tool, because free use comes with conditions: several tools use chats for training unless you opt out, share links can be public and credits run out. It shows what to check before you type, how to test once with invented material and when to stop.
Windsurf’s desktop IDE is now Devin Desktop, and both products still list a $20 individual plan. Neither public page states the model usage that price includes, so the two plans cannot be normalized before purchase. A Tier C document audit of the billing regimes, meters, and contract terms behind them.
Before price, check whether each vendor will host you at all. GetResponse’s published list bars weapons, gambling and nicotine outright. Kit’s bars CPA affiliate sites and insurance promotion. Then check the billing unit, because the two vendors do not count subscribers the same way. Document-first, both sides, no cost winner.
Twelve figures decide whether a shared hosting plan will hold a workload. FSR checked which ones each company prints where the plan is chosen. Namecheap prints eleven. Hostinger prints five, and its limits come in three versions by purchase date that the plan card does not show. Read 25 August 2026.
A document-first comparison of Instantly.ai and lemlist. Instantly advertises unlimited email accounts while its Terms cap them at 100 per workspace, and its help center bills each workspace separately. lemlist says its Email plan is not per seat, then says only users with an active paid seat can send. Tier C: no hands-on testing.
Jasper, Copy.ai, and ChatGPT are seven purchase routes, not three products. This document-first briefing compares what each route publishes before checkout: minimum spend, seat rules, credit meters, governing agreements, and the places where each vendor’s own pages disagree. No paid account was opened.
The cheapest paid plans are $12 and $8. The cheapest plans clearing watermark-free export and documented commercial use are $12 and $28. Tier C: no account, no generation, no invoice.
Both entry plans cover 100 transactions and list within $10 of each other. They are not measuring the same thing. Koinly prices a single tax year using history from years you are not filing, and says the order you buy plans in changes the total.
