Disclosure

Future Stack Reviews welcomes affiliate partnerships, sponsored articles, product explainers, paid placements and collaborations. This page sets our disclosure standards and explains the boundaries between commercial work and independent editorial assessment.

FSR is published by 合同会社Future Stack in Japan. Commercial funding can support a topic, production or clearly identified placement. It cannot purchase a favorable independent conclusion, an independent ranking position, a research tier or the removal of substantiated criticism from independent editorial coverage. Conclusions can change when new evidence or substantiated corrections change the assessment.

Product access and vendor input

Vendors may provide trials, accounts, credits, briefings, demonstrations or documentation. Relevant articles must identify material assistance and restrictions that affect the research or its interpretation. Vendor-supplied information and demonstrations must be distinguishable from work FSR performed itself.

Starter Guide is an article format and can carry Tier A, Tier B or Tier C. Tier C can be produced from document research without a product account. Tier B requires actual firsthand work on defined tasks in a suitable account or test environment; Tier A requires sustained use or an extended active test, supported by source research. The Methodology explains the scope of each tier.

Funding or access can make more research possible. The tier follows the work actually completed; receiving an account, a payment or a vendor demonstration does not establish firsthand use or a deeper tier. Supplied access alone does not guarantee coverage or a favorable assessment.

Vendors and readers can provide factual corrections, updated sources or explanations of product behaviour. We assess that input on its evidence. A vendor statement does not automatically settle a conflict with documentation or observed behaviour. Factual review does not give a vendor control of an independent conclusion or the removal of substantiated criticism.

Corporate services and referral relationships

Future Stack’s corporate services are contracted separately from public FSR content and publishing sponsorships. AI and SaaS selection engagements apply public evidence to a customer’s requirements under an agreed scope. The customer retains final product selection, contracting, purchasing and implementation approvals.

For buyer-paid research, our standards require material affiliate relationships, supplied access, prior vendor work and other relevant commercial relationships to be disclosed before accepting the assignment and in its deliverable. Where a relationship is material to public coverage, it must also be disclosed with that coverage.

The customer’s research fee pays for the agreed work and is not contingent on a purchase, conversion, favorable recommendation or vendor outcome. Vendor referral compensation is a separate possible revenue relationship. A research contract does not purchase a predetermined vendor choice or changes to independent public editorial coverage.

For the applicable software-selection engagements, the approved corporate service terms require candidates, evaluations and recommendation order to be recorded before referral registration. Those terms also require the use of approved official programmes, disclosure of the relevant relationship and customer consent before referring or registering an opportunity. They prohibit claiming both affiliate and referral compensation for the same customer transaction.

A buyer-paid assignment must not be used to add, replace or optimise affiliate calls to action for vendors being evaluated. If a customer’s request, commercial relationship, access condition or confidentiality obligation prevents a clear evidence boundary, the research or related editorial coverage may be declined, narrowed or delayed.

Confidential client records remain separate from public content. They must not be reused in public editorial work without separate written permission. Do not send credentials, payment details, personal records or confidential customer documents through the public contact channel.

Disclosures, corrections and commercial proposals

This page describes the publishing standards. An affected article must also explain its actual relevant relationships. Sponsorship, affiliate compensation, supplied access and research depth are distinct facts and can coexist. A research-tier label does not replace a commercial disclosure.

Contact FSR about an affiliate partnership, sponsored project, paid placement, supplied access or collaboration. For a commercial proposal, describe the intended readers, format, scope, timing and the involvement you seek.

For a missing disclosure or factual correction, send the article URL and explain the concern. A supporting link, reproducible description or redacted screenshot can help; include the relevant plan, region and date where possible. Supporting evidence is welcome even when you do not have an official source. A report can prompt investigation; a change depends on what the evidence establishes.
